An range of coil springs with alternative rates are now available for the RC40XCFR. Light, medium (standard) and hard rate springs cover the following range of rider weights;

Light Rate. Rider weight less than 155lbs/11 stone/70kg. Stamped 'S' on spring base or Spring is coloured Yellow. Part No  SFA40-2472
Medium Rate. Rider weight less than 203lbs/14.5stones/92kg. Stamped 'M' on spring base. Part No SFA40-2449
Hard Rate. Rider weight less than 238lbs/17 stone/108kg. Stamped 'H' on spring base or Spring colour is Blue. Part No  SFA40-2473

The spring comes as a complete assembly comprising coil spring, progressive elastomer bottom out, cnc machined adjuster and spring base, circlip etc. The original adjuster dial (with its detent springs and balls) and stanchion top cap should be retained and fitted to new spring.

Fork is supplied with medium rate spring as standard (unfortunately Pace cannot custom fit different spring rates in production).
